Foodie Ghost recommends a restaurant at K11 this time, which its location is highly accessible.
The decoration of the restaurant is very nice and tidy. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is romantic. Fusion-style food are provided and the Asian food ingredients are perfectly combined with Western spaghetti and risotto.
Bread is a very big surprise actually as it has an aroma of flour.
鹹蛋黃‧蒿荀‧蟹肉意粉 | Salted egg yolk‧asparagus lettuce‧crab meat spaghetti ($178)
Very fresh crab meat. Spaghetti is well prepared. Surprisingly salted egg yolk is a good combination with the dish. Unfortunately the taste of salted egg yolk is a bit too strong, even stronger than the fresh taste of crab meat.
火灸帶子‧紫薑‧醃漬蔬菜‧墨魚汁飯 | Seared scallops‧ginger‧pickle‧squid ink risotto ($198)
墨魚汁非常香濃，意大利飯的濕度控制得好，帶有一點黏的感覺，但飯亦是一粒粒分明的，值得一讚。 火灸帶子十分美味，不但帶有火灸後的香氣，帶子本身亦鮮味十足，而且肉質嫩滑。 用上紫薑是有點出乎意料的，但它可以中和濃味的墨魚汁。
Squid ink is simply awesome. The portion of water added to the risotto is controlled well. Scallops are delicious and they are tender. Fresh scallops are used. It’s a bit surprising to me that ginger are used. However, it is good to bring some fresh taste into the strong flavour of the squid ink.
炸甜番薯條‧檸檬蜜糖醬 | Sweet potato fries‧lemon honey mayonnaise ($68)
Sweet potato fries are fresh, great control of deep fry. The lemon honey mayonnaise could take the dish the a higher level, well done.
草莓爆谷茶 | Strawberry Flip Fruit Tea ($48)
Refreshing tea with a mild taste of strawberry.
鹹檸檬‧薄荷梳打 | Salted Lemon‧Mint Soda ($48)
Very typical Hong Kong style ingredient – Salted Lemon, which is a good combination with mint soda.
